At this time, the station played Classic Rock music from artists in the 70s and 80s. Their target audience was the population aged 35-54. The station had a steady expansion peaking at four hundred thousand listeners in 2009. Later on, the station went through a series of rebranding stages. They initially changed their name to ‘Classic Rock 91.5’ then later to ‘smoothfm 91.5’. The station is currently a fifty-six kilo-watt broadcasting network featuring an easy listening format.
